Alebtong – The Vicar of Alebtong, Rev. Shadrack Ogwal, has urged Christians not to shy away from God when facing life’s challenges but to run to Him in prayer and faith, trusting that He has all the answers.
Rev. Ogwal made the passionate appeal during his Sunday sermon at St. Phillips Church of Uganda, Alebtong Headquarters. The message, which was also broadcast live on QFM’s Sunday Gospel Explosion, warned against turning to the devil in search of quick solutions when problems arise.
“Some people see their problems as bigger than God and end up turning to the devil. But whoever has problems should run to God because He alone has the answers,” Rev. Ogwal told the congregation.
He encouraged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and to work hard in advancing the Kingdom of God, no matter the trials they face.
Ambrose Angura, the host of Sunday Gospel Explosion on QFM, also known by his listeners as the “Bishop of the Diocese of QFM,” praised Rev. Ogwal as a dedicated servant of God. He called on Christians to support and take good care of the clergy in their communities.
“We are blessed to have a man like Rev. Ogwal at the Alebtong Vicarage. Through the radio, we shall continue reaching many people with the word of God,” Angura said.
The sermon resonated with listeners across the region as QFM continues to use its airwaves to spread the Gospel and encourage spiritual growth among its audience.
