OTWAL, Uganda – The spokesman for Okii Raki Okwero Coboro, Geoffrey Ojok Opio, has announced that the clan head, Mr. Emmy Joe Odongo, has fully honored his promise to provide each clan member under his leadership with two big saucepans.
Ojok confirmed that distribution has already been completed in Otwal, Agali, Bata, and Adekokwok, with all clan members in those areas receiving their saucepans.
“Emmy Joe has fulfilled his promise. He has given the people of Otwal, Agali, Bata, and Adekokwok their two big saucepans each,” Ojok said.
However, Ojok issued a strong warning against rumors suggesting that another election for clan head is being planned. He dismissed such claims as completely false, emphasizing that the clan already has a recognized leader.
“There are rumors moving around that there is going to be another election for clan head. That is not true. We already have a clan leader, and that leader is Emmy Joe Odongo,” Ojok stated firmly.
He further alleged that those behind the election rumors are former leaders who have failed to account for funds and their stewardship over the past 17 years.
“The people trying to organize this election are former leaders who have failed to account for the money and their work for the last 17 years,” Ojok added.
The spokesman urged clan members to ignore the rumors and remain united behind Emmy Joe Odongo, who he said has demonstrated leadership through action by delivering on his saucepan promise.
