KOLE, UGANDA — An 8-month-old baby girl, Always Emmanuel Noel, is in a critical condition and requires urgent medical attention abroad. Born with heart problems, the infant needs 48 million Ugandan shillings to travel to India for life-saving surgery.
According to the mother, Christine Omara, the situation has become desperate. She revealed that the window of time given to them to travel to India has already passed, leaving the child in a painful state.
“The child is in a painful situation. She cannot sleep at night because the baby is always crying,” Omara said, visibly distressed.
Omara is now appealing to the public, well-wishers, and the government to help her raise the necessary funds to save her daughter's life. She emphasized that time is of the essence and the family is relying on the generosity of others.
The appeal has received support from Winnie Acen, a former Woman MP contestant for Apac. Acen has called upon the people of Lango and Uganda at large to come together and raise the money needed to help the child.
To facilitate the process, Acen noted that she has already paid for the passports for both the mother and the child, clearing one hurdle in their travel preparations.
“It is better to raise the money and help the child,” Acen urged, calling for collective action to save the infant's life.
The family is asking for financial assistance to cover the costs of the surgery and travel. Those willing to help can send their contributions via Mobile Money to 0762873621.
For the family of baby Always Emmanuel Noel, every contribution brings them one step closer to a life-saving surgery and a chance for the child to live a healthy life.
