LIRA CITY, Uganda – The Victoria School of Nursing and Midwifery in Lira City has declared its ambition to become the cornerstone of health education not just in Uganda, but across the globe, with its Director affirming the institution's commitment to producing world-class medical professionals.
Speaking exclusively to our reporter in his office, the school's Director, Mr. Isaac Orec, outlined a bold vision for the institution, emphasizing that Victoria School of Nursing has already established a track record of excellence and is determined to raise the bar even higher.
"Victoria School of Nursing and Midwifery has produced, and will always produce, the best nurses and midwives that will help this country and the world," Mr. Orec stated confidently. "We are not just training students; we are molding pillars of health care who will stand firm in every ward, every clinic, and every emergency room across Uganda and beyond."
The Director was responding to questions about how the school plans to improve health education in the region. He noted that the institution's curriculum combines rigorous theoretical training with hands-on clinical experience, ensuring that graduates are job-ready and capable of handling diverse medical challenges.
