Dr Ronex Tendo Kisembo Engages EALA Speaker, Ugandan MPs in Strategic Consultations at Kenya Parliament

NAIROBI—Dr. Ronex Tendo Kisembo, an aspiring candidate for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), has taken a significant step in his political journey by engaging with senior regional leaders at the Parliament of Kenya in Nairobi.

During his visit, Dr. Kisembo held strategic consultations with the Rt. Hon. Joseph Ntakirutimana, Speaker of EALA, alongside notable Ugandan legislators including Hon. James Kakooza, Dennis Namara, Paul Musamali, and Gerald Siranda. The meeting provided an opportunity for the aspirant to draw from their wealth of experience and gain deeper insight into the workings of regional governance.

Dr. Kisembo emphasized the importance of mentorship and learning from those who have successfully navigated the path he now seeks to pursue. He noted that consulting seasoned leaders has been a deliberate priority in shaping his understanding of key regional institutions, including the East African Community (EAC), the East African Legislative Assembly, and the East African Court of Justice.

“Engaging with leaders who have walked this journey before me is invaluable,” Dr. Kisembo said. “It has broadened my perspective on regional integration, legislative processes, and the role EALA plays in advancing the East African agenda.”

He added that these interactions have strengthened his commitment to contributing meaningfully to the East African Community, particularly in promoting unity, policy harmonization, and socio-economic transformation across member states.

Dr. Kisembo’s consultations come as he prepares to formally embark on his bid for EALA, signaling a campaign grounded in learning, collaboration, and a clear vision for regional development.

His approach reflects a growing trend among emerging leaders who seek to combine ambition with guidance, ensuring that their aspirations are aligned with the broader goals of the East African Community.
