They Are Ajok Angiongio:MP Santa Alum Ogwang Dismisses Tribunal Case as Political Witch-Hunt
I Will Vote Eddy Morrish Ogweng For MP Lira City West 2026-2031

OYAM – Oyam District Woman Member of Parliament, Santa Alum Ogwang, has declared that the legal accusations brought against her before the Electoral Commission tribunal are politically motivated, meant to derail her representation—but she insists they will not stop her.

The case was filed by NRM Chairperson of Abok Sub County, Francis Oyuku, alongside Jimmy Obong and Enestina Ogwal from Ngai Sub County. Despite the pending tribunal matter, Alum Ogwang continues to campaign vigorously, receiving what she described as "massive love and jubilation" during a Sunday rally in Aber Sub County.

Addressing supporters, Alum acknowledged that she is being "witch-hunted" but struck a tone of forgiveness.

“I know there are those behind this, taking me to the tribunal out of jealousy and politics. But I have forgiven them,” she said. She referred to her accusers as “Ajok Angiongio” — a local expression implying envious schemers — and claimed she and her supporters already know who they are.

The rally also featured strong statements from her political allies. Cyipriano Otine, the UPC Secretary for Finance, told the gathering at Ayomapwono that the camp is prepared to defend her votes by all means.

“The haters first tried court and failed. Now they are planning other things, including rigging the elections. We are ready to protect Santa Alum’s votes,” he declared.

Chris Ongom, Santa Alum’s political assistant, echoed the warning, stating that anyone attempting to steal the election would be "dealt with" firmly.

The public show of force and unity signals Alum Ogwang’s strategy to frame the tribunal case as a desperate political tactic by opponents, while mobilizing her base ahead of any potential electoral challenges. The matter before the EC tribunal continues, even as the MP remains on the ground, campaigning with undiminished energy.
