Dennis Adim Enap Picks Presidential Nomination, Vows to Restore Uganda’s Glory and Heal the Nation
I Will Vote Eddy Morrish Ogweng For MP Lira City West 2026-2031

Kampala, Uganda | August 20, 2025 —

Dennis Adim Enap, President of the Uganda People’s Congress (UPC), officially picked nomination forms from the Electoral Commission yesterday to contest in the upcoming presidential elections. In a bold and hopeful message to the nation, Enap pledged to restore the lost glory of both the UPC and Uganda if elected into office.

“When elected, I will bring back the lost glory of the UPC and Uganda,” Enap stated confidently, drawing applause from supporters gathered at the Electoral Commission offices in Kampala.

Reviving Health and Education

Enap laid out key pillars of his campaign, with a sharp focus on health and education. He emphasized that non-communicable diseases such as cancer and heart disease would be treated free of charge under his leadership.

“Our people are suffering silently from diseases that should be managed and treated without financial burden. Under my government, treatment for cancer, heart disease, and other non-communicable illnesses will be free for all Ugandans,” he declared.

In education, Enap promised major reforms to ensure access, quality, and relevance, stating that a revived education system is the foundation of national development.

Peaceful Leadership and Respect for Former Presidents

In a strong message of unity and reconciliation, Enap vowed to promote peace and ensure that no former leader, including President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his family, would be prosecuted or persecuted after a transition of power.

“We believe in peaceful leadership and respect for all those who have served the country. President Museveni and his family must be protected and live peacefully. Uganda should not be a country of political revenge,” he affirmed.

Strengthening Regional Ties

The UPC flag bearer also underscored the importance of diplomacy and regional cooperation, promising to strengthen Uganda’s relationships with neighboring countries for mutual peace and prosperity.

“We must build stronger ties with our neighbors. A stable and cooperative East Africa benefits all of us,” he said.

With a message centered on national healing, social reform, and respect for all Ugandans, Dennis Adim Enap enters the presidential race as a candidate promising transformation through unity, compassion, and dignity.
