Daniel Todo Vows to Uplift Kole District, Pledges War on Corruption and Inclusive Leadership

Kole District | June 21, 2025

Daniel Todo, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flagbearer for LC5 Chairperson in Kole District, has vowed to champion transformative leadership anchored on integrity, unity, and human dignity, as he rallies support ahead of the 2026 general elections.

While addressing a gathering of supporters, local leaders, and youth in Alito Town Council over the weekend, Todo laid out his four-point agenda that he believes will spark a new dawn of development in Kole.

“My leadership will be grounded in fighting corruption at all levels,” he declared, receiving loud applause from the crowd. “Every coin meant for the people of Kole must serve the people of Kole.”

Todo emphasized that corruption is the single greatest obstacle to service delivery, and under his leadership, there will be zero tolerance for misuse of public resources. He pledged to work closely with oversight bodies and the Office of the IGG to ensure transparency in all district operations.

Secondly, he promised to foster unity among all cadres—whether political, religious, or cultural—saying that lasting progress depends on a cohesive community that speaks with one voice.

“Kole belongs to all of us,” Todo said. “We may belong to different parties or tribes, but development does not discriminate. We must come together for the common good.”

His third pillar focused on respect for everyone’s rights, especially the marginalized and vulnerable. He reiterated that every resident—regardless of age, gender, political affiliation, or economic status—deserves equal treatment and opportunities under his leadership.

Todo concluded that if corruption is fought, unity promoted, and rights respected, development is inevitable.

“This is not just a political promise. This is my conviction. If we do the right things, then Kole will not remain behind. Roads, schools, health centers, markets—these will come naturally when leadership is accountable and united,” he assured.

As the campaign trail heats up in Kole District, Daniel Todo’s message is resonating with many, especially the youth and business community, who are eager for change that brings tangible results.

With the backing of the NRM ticket and a bold vision for a better Kole, Daniel Todo is fast emerging as a leading contender for the district’s top seat.
