Kwania, Uganda– Former LORO Core Primary Teachers' College (PTC) bursar Bazil Odongo has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of Kwania District Chairperson in the upcoming elections.
Odongo made the revelation today during an exclusive interview with Karumapost,stating that he had finalized his decision to run for the district’s top leadership role.
“I have made up my mind to contest for the chairperson seat of Kwania District,” Odongo declared. “My focus will be on improving road networks, boosting education standards, eradicating poverty, enhancing healthcare services, and most importantly, revolutionizing the agriculture sector.”
Odongo emphasized that his administration would prioritize infrastructural development, particularly road connectivity, to facilitate trade and accessibility. He also pledged to support education programs and implement poverty alleviation initiatives to uplift local communities.
Agriculture, a key economic driver in Kwania, will be at the forefront of his agenda, with plans to modernize farming practices and increase productivity.
As a former bursar at LORO Core PTC, Odongo brings administrative experience and a deep understanding of community needs. His entry into the race is expected to intensify the competition for the district’s leadership position.
