He emphasized that the occasion is not only a constitutional requirement but also a symbol of stability, continuity, and the enduring strength of Uganda’s democratic processes.
Aguda praised President Museveni for his unwavering commitment to maintaining peace, strengthening national security, and driving socio-economic transformation across the country. He noted that under Museveni’s leadership, Uganda has witnessed notable progress in infrastructure development, wealth creation initiatives, and youth empowerment programs.
Highlighting the importance of unity, Leo Aguda called upon all Ugandans especially the people of the Lango sub-region to embrace togetherness and actively support the new term of leadership. He encouraged citizens to put aside political differences and work collectively toward national development and shared prosperity.
According to Aguda, the swearing-in ceremony serves as a reminder of Uganda’s collective responsibility to uphold peace, promote patriotism, and contribute to building a stronger nation.
