KAMPALA, UGANDA – Denis Emiku, the Country Director of Project Hope Worldwide Uganda, has passionately called upon school proprietors across the nation to prioritize guiding their students "in the way of God." Emiku delivered this message during a powerful Sunday morning prayer session hosted at a local school and broadcast live on QFM's popular program, "Sunday Gospel Explosion."
Speaking to an audience of educators, students, and radio listeners countrywide, Emiku emphasized the fundamental link between faith and wisdom.
“Schools should ensure that they teach their children with the way of God,"Emiku declared, “because knowing God is the beginning of wisdom."
He positioned this spiritual grounding as essential for holistic student development.
Emiku further encouraged pupils and students to nurture significant aspirations, linking ambition with future success. “Pupils and students have big dreams,"he continued, so that they can achieve big in the future.
The spiritual theme was reinforced by Pastor Alfred Emiku of Project Hope Worldwide Ministries. Addressing the students directly, Pastor Alfred challenged their self-perception: “You should know very well that you are [either] victims of circumstances or victors in Christ," urging them to embrace their identity and potential through faith.
Adding a strong academic focus to the spiritual message, Ambrose Angura, the host of "Sunday Gospel Explosion" and known on air as the "Bishop of QFM," issued a clear call to action. Angura implored the students to dedicate themselves to their studies:”Read hard and hard,"he urged.
He placed particular emphasis on empowering girls, stating, Girls [should] study hard so that they can have a bright future.
The event, blending prayer, motivational speaking, and calls for both spiritual and academic excellence, highlighted Project Hope Worldwide Uganda's commitment to fostering well-rounded development for Uganda's youth, leveraging the influential platform of QFM's "Sunday Gospel Explosion" to reach a broad audience.
