Kampala, Uganda – EALA aspirant Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo has declared that he is the man to "make EALA shine and bring back hope," appealing to the NRM caucus, Members of Parliament, and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for their crucial support as the by-election approaches .

"This is not about seeking a seat as a favour; it is about extending a journey I have long been on," he stated, emphasizing his vision for a borderless East Africa.
His campaign is built on a promise to deepen the East African Community's ideals, specifically advocating for a "one currency, one truck, one future" framework to facilitate trade and movement . He also highlighted his commitment to President Museveni's ideology, promising to work tirelessly to ensure the President's vision for the region is realized in the Assembly.
"Uganda needs voices in Arusha who understand the region not from briefings, but from lived experience," Dr. Kisembo said, pointing to his fluency in Kiswahili, French, and other regional languages as a strategic advantage . He called on the ruling party to choose competence over party arithmetic, arguing that his commitment to East African unity is central to the NRM's own regional vision .
