Dr. Ngole emphasized his commitment to making animal reproduction services accessible to every farmer. "We offer artificial insemination services at very affordable prices," he said. "Whether you want to breed your local cattle with high-quality breeds from within the country or import genetics from outside—like the famous Limousin breed—we have the capacity to deliver."

The investment comes at a time when the livestock sector in the region faces challenges. A 2023 study by the International Livestock Research Institute highlighted that pig production in Northern Uganda is characterized by low use of services such as veterinary extension and drugs . Additionally, a mass vaccination drive against Foot and Mouth Disease was launched in Kitgum in April 2026, underlining the ongoing need for robust animal health infrastructure .
